Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to join the
Thermoelectric Group in the School of Engineering, Cardiff University.
The post is associated with a EU-FP7 programme to develop and
characterise thermoelectric materials for energy harvesting
applications. The main tasks at Cardiff focuses on establishing a
measurement technique for characterisation of electrical
and thermal properties and preparation of nanostructured thermoelectric
materials. You should have good knowledge and experiences of materials
science and measurements. The practical skills of design and
construction of measurement system and characterisation of electric and
thermal properties of materials will be desirable.
This post is fixed-term, starting as soon as possible and ending on 30/10/2014.
Salary: £25013 - £28972 per annum (Grade 5)
